On behalf of the staff at the N.E. Miles Early Childhood Development Center at the College of Charleston, we want to thank you for working with us to provide Pediatric First Aid and CPR training.
Our logistical needs can be challenging, as our national accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Department of Social Services (DSS) licensing have differing and very specific requirements. In addition, our reliance on university students as Teaching assistants results in about a one-third turn-over of staff each semester, so our needs are ongoing. Finally, we sometimes have special requirements for additional modules depending on the special needs of our enrolled children.
You and your staff have been most accommodating:
- Scheduling training when we need it
- Conducting trainings on-site to accommodate our students’ transportation limitations
- Being responsive to last minute changes in trainee group
- Prompt delivery of documentation and cards
- Flexibility in providing customized training content to meet our regulatory requirements
We also appreciate the high level of professionalism and quality of the sessions, making sure all staff get the training materials and hands-on experience they need.
